Indriya is a concept interior design, furniture, and home décor store that makes your dream home more accessible and a reality. Our home solutions offer customers the flexibility to customize their furniture with their preferred materials, finishes, upholstery, or soft furnishings and decor to match their unique styles. Every home designed by Indriya reflects the homeowner’s style, personality, and vision.
Our Philosophy
Inspired by the spectacular natural beauty of Canada’s Atlantic coastline, Indriya by Smita Prakash imbibes the creative power of art, culture, and heritage of Prince Edward Island (PEI) in its design and creative process. The term “Indriya” in Sanskrit, arguably the world’s oldest language, refers to the sensory and spiritual faculties including sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch.
Indriya is a proud member of the Central Coastal Tourism Partnership and Cavendish Beach Tourism, reinforcing our dedication to connecting with and supporting the vibrant local community.
From the Designer's Desk
“It has been my privilege to create spaces over the last 28 years for a varied and loyal clientele across the globe. I have handled projects in India, the Middle East, Dubai, New York, and Toronto.
I like the spaces we design to read like a biography of our clients, their needs, and experiences. Dedicated to the future of design, innovative space management, and chic home décor, I now live in Prince Edward Island in North Rustico, where my husband, Sharat, and I own and manage the Graham Inn. With the launch of Indriya, a concept furniture and home décor store in Cavendish, I hope to bring my design skills and expertise to the island and its community.
